Miller Street Dancers are Finalists for State Titles

Saturday, September 24 2016 – Albemarle, NC – Fifteen dancers from Miller Street Dance Academy have advanced to the next round of competition for the titles of Petite, Junior, Teen, Miss, and Mr. Dance of North Carolina. The dancers selected on Saturday are all part of the top ten in each of their age divisions.

All of the students selected as part of the top ten in their divisions will compete for the State titles in November at the Carolina Dance Masters’ annual Convention. Finalists will perform their solos along with being scored in classes and private interviews. The winners of each age division will move on to the Dance Masters of America National competition to vie for the prestigious National titles.

Miller Street is proud to be the home to the following reigning titleholders: Petite Miss Dance of North Carolina- Bella Jones, Teen Mister Dance of North Carolina- Walter Crowley, Teen Miss Dance of North Carolina- Hailey Wrona, and Mister Dance of America- Sam Faulkner.
