Tryout Form

We have been a leader in dance education for over twenty five years. Our highly successful competition team members have won top awards throughout the region and across the nation! By starting with the best dance instructors available, offering leading edge choreography, providing excellent practice facilities, developing clear communication processes for the team families, and encouraging the team members to be their best, Miller Street has created an environment unmatched in our region!

Petite Miss Dance of NC
Savannah Parker

Savannah Parker is 9 years old and is in 3rdgrade at Charlotte Christian School.  She maintains a straight “A” average and is currently a member of the praise team.

Savannah started dancing at Miller Street Dance Academy when she was 2 ½.  She is a 3-year member of the Competition Team and 1 year member of Production Team. Savannah has trained in Acro, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Tap & Hiphop.  Savannah absolutely loves being a part of this team and all the friends she has made.

Savannah also enjoys acting & voice.  She started taking acting lessons at the age of 5 and voice at the age of 7.  She has filmed a Bi-Lo commercial, presidential promotional video for Raggs TV and booked a print job for Briggs and Stratton. She has also participated in the Broadway Arts Lab production of Annie, Jr.

When she isn’t dancing Savannah likes to be with her friends and family.  She also enjoys reading, making musicallys and going to concerts.

Savannah is excited and honored to have been crowned Petite Miss Dance of North Carolina 2018-2019 . She looks forward to representing Miller Street Dance Academy and Carolina Dance Masters Chapter 15.

Junior Miss Dance of NC
Audrey Bucey

Audrey Bucey is twelve years old and is in sixth grade at Carmel Christian School. She is a straight “A” student and has represented her school at ASCI academic competitions.  Audrey is involved in theater, dance, and vocal programs at school, and she is also a member of the Duke TIP program.

Audrey began dancing at age four and has danced at Miller Street for the past 7 years.  She has been a member of the Miller Street Competition Team for the past 6 years and on the Production Team for the past 4 years. She studies tap, jazz, ballet/pointe, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, acro and hip hop.  Audrey’s favorite dance styles are musical theater and lyrical, and she has performed dance solos in these genres the past 5 years.  She loves dancing with her friends and being part of the Miller Street family. Each year, Audrey helps raise money for charities through Miller Street.  She has sponsored snack bag programs for “A Child’s Place” and has coordinated many fund raisers with her friends for Dancer’s Against Cancer.

Audrey has taken dance lessons in New York and San Francisco, and she enjoys going to dance conventions to grow as a dancer and meet new people.  This past summer, Audrey was selected to participate in the Joffrey Ballet NYC Musical Theater Intensive Program and was able to study with Broadway performers.  For the past three years, Audrey has participated in the Broadway Arts Lab Productions appearing in Legally Blonde, Jr. (cast), Annie, Jr. (“Annie”), and You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (“Sally”).

When she isn’t dancing, Audrey likes to perform in plays and sing with her Ignite Band at school.  She also enjoys baking, arts and crafts, having sleepovers with her friends, and traveling with her family to visit different places.  Audrey has two brothers who support her at her dance competitions, and she goes to support them in their lacrosse and cross country competitions.

Audrey is honored to have been named Junior Miss Dance of North Carolina 2018-2019.  She will work hard, and try her best, to represent Miller Street Dance Academy and Carolina Dance Masters.

Teen Miss Dance of NC
Brenna Goebel

Brenna is 13 years old and has been dancing since age 3 at Miller Street Dance Academy.  She is a 9 year member of the Miller Street Dance Academy’s Competition Team and 8 year member of MSDA’s Production Team.  Brenna is trained in Acro, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Hip Hop.

Brenna has held the title of 2014-2015 Petite Miss Dance of NC before becoming 2015 Petite Miss Dance of America.  She held the title of 2016-2017 Junior Miss Dance of NC as well as placing first runner up for Junior Miss Dance of America.  She was a Broadway Dreams performer in their “Generation Our Story” show.

Brenna is in the 8th grade at Cuthbertson Middle School and maintains a straight “A” average.  She is a member of the National Beta Club and a 3 year member of the Cuthbertson Middle School dance team.

When not dancing she enjoys riding horses, interior design, and doing art projects.

She is excited and honored to be crowned the 2018-2018 Teen Miss Dance of NC and represent Miller Street Dance Academy and Chapter 15 Carolina Dance Masters.
