2020 Summer Camp Themes

.

.

Children ages 5-8 are welcome to attend our themed camps. Children must be five for themed camps by the first date of the camp they are attending.
The first day of camp the children will be put into groups as they arrive. The children naturally gravitate towards an age appropriate setting, and friends and siblings may choose if they would like to be in the same group!
For both themed camps and pre-teen camps, dance shoes are not required but may be brought if the child likes. We will not tap in either camp. Most dancers enjoy themed camp in their socks or barefoot as we do a lot of tumbling. For pre-teen camp girls can go barefoot or wear any dance shoes they may have. Please be sure you have your child’s first and last name on all clothing/shoes.
No. We will not be having a break for food due to the current guidelines we must follow.
No. Summer camp is a great way to try out Miller Street! Enroll your child and encourage their friends to join them!
All camps are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Once your child enrolls in a camp date, they cannot switch to a different camp. This ensures that each camp is sufficiently staffed.
Registration is online. Click on the “Register Here” tab above. Find the camp or camps that work for your family’s Summer schedule and click “register” to the left of that camp(s). Full camps will show as “waitlist” to the left of the camp. Follow the online registration instructions.
For themed camps, we suggest comfortable clothes that they can move in and get a little dirty. Leotards & shorts, or shorts/jazz pants & t-shirts are a good idea. Keep in mind that for themed camps we will be doing arts & crafts & tumbling. For pre-teen camp we suggest tights and leotard, dance pants and leotard, dance pants and t-shirt, or shorts that the dancer can move in with a t-shirt.
